A Dog's Will (2000)

Direction: Guel Arraes

One of the best Brazilian films (in my opinion, the best) shows us an amazing story about two poor men that fight every day to survive.  The two guys use during all story much wisdom and happiness to pass for adversities of day-by-day.

The story has a village in the Paraiba’s countryside called Taperoa as scenery. The film has good jokes and it addresses brilliantly the hard reality that some Brazilians have, from hunger to hopelessness.

To finish this masterpiece, the film also shows us how would be the heaven in a historical trial for the salvation of these two souls. Recommended from beginning to end, the film holds the attention in which overturn. The writer Ariano Suassuna would be honoured with this cinema’s representation of his masterpiece written in 1955.

Grease (1978)

Direction: Randal Kleiser

With inspiration on the grease era the film Grease made countless people enjoy again the magic era of 1950s with leather jackets, dresses with little balls, Cadillacs and grease in the hair.

The film tells us the story about a rebel young guy called Danny Zuko (John Travolta) who falls in love with maiden like and shiny Sandy Olsson (Olivia Newton-John) but the girl doesn`t like him. It`s ready the perfect plot just need of good music and the musical epic it`s done.

A fabulous film about youth, animation and passion. For people who lived through this era is a great film to remember and the people who isn`t lived it`s a fantastic film to live now!
